TechCrunch features Skytree's latest funding round to support greenhouses

Published on

Is sucking CO2 out of the air rocket science?

Maybe a little rocket science goes a long way in helping make direct air capture technology better.

Rob van Straten, in an exclusive with Climate Tech reporter, Tim de Chant of TechCrunch talks about the recent close of a $6 million seed round led by Horticoop , a cooperative fund investing in businesses that contribute to the horticulture industry, and The Yield Lab Europe, an international Agtech impact VC fund.

The injection of capital will help Skytree accelerate growth and deployment of our technology supporting Controlled Environment Agriculture organizations in their quest to provide food security for a growing population while reducing reliance on fossil fuel-based and unstable CO2 supply.
